LINCOLN MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION
“AAA” TRYOUT PROCEDURE
If a player wishes to tryout for our “AAA” affiliate (St. Catharines), the following must be completed:
· Player must register with payment in full with the Lincoln Minor Hockey Association at our Spring registration. This is required to secure a place for the player in LMHA Rep team spring tryouts as well as for OMHA insurance purposes.
· Player must obtain a Permission to Skate form issued by the Lincoln Minor Hockey Association at its spring registration.
If the player is released from the “AAA” team and wants to return to Lincoln to play rep hockey (ie: BB or AE) the player MUST register for and attend at least 1 “BB” tryout in the spring in order to have the opportunity to move on to the fall tryouts and be eligible for team selection. Lincoln residents are not eligible to play ‘A’ or ‘AA’ based on the current OMHA residency regulations.
If the player is successful in their attempt to make the “AAA” team, the player or parent must notify the Lincoln Minor Hockey Association Registrar. The Registrar will then notify the Treasurer and arrange for a full refund, save and except for the Non-Refundable Fundraising fee, to be forwarded to the player/parent.
NOTE: LMHA can only issue a permission to skate for St. Catharines ‘AAA’. If a player is wanting to tryout for a ‘AAA’ centre other than St. Catharines, they must obtain an “F1 Waiver” from the St. Catharines Association.
